Overview
Over the past few years, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the University of York have been running their popular Courses in Decision Modelling for Health Economic Evaluation online. Due to popular demand, there are now two different ways to take the courses, outlined below. The cost for both options is the same - the intention is to fit in with different students' learning requirements.
1) "Live" version: With this version, there is a set timetable (courses are generally run once per year, but are subject to change/withdrawal). Materials are released once per week and students complete the lectures and exercises on the course platform in their own time, then attend a weekly live Q&A session with the tutors via Zoom. 2024 Live Courses have been scheduled for May/June 2024, and students can pre-register below.
2) "On Demand" version: The On Demand Courses contain the same content as the Live Courses, but there are no live Q&A sessions. Students work through the content on the course platform in their own time and have access to discussion boards, which are monitored regularly by faculty. Students gain 2 months of access to the relevant course from the point of enrolment, meaning that this option is ideal for students on time zones distant from the UK or who have less flexible work schedules.
